If you read our last blog post, How to Unfreeze a Frozen Shoulder, you learned the stages of having a frozen shoulder and you know that Walker Physical Therapy & Pain Center treats patients with frozen shoulder. We’ve had a lot of success with our treatments and wanted to share some frozen shoulder success stories with you:
“This is my second time being treated at Walker Physical Therapy. I had a frozen left shoulder. I could not fasten my seatbelt or properly dress myself when I arrived. My therapist designed some unique exercises and provided therapy 2-3 times per week. The other therapists and aids were always encouraging. After 7 months, I have approximately 90% function of my left shoulder I believe I will continue to improve. I appreciate the wonderful attitude and welcoming atmosphere I’ve experience here.”
“This is my second time at Walker Physical Therapy, and both times I have been happy with the improvement. The first time was to treat my left shoulder, which suffered from “frozen shoulder”. After my treatments I was able to move my arm and perform a much wider range of movements without surgery. This time it was to treat my neck and lower back. I feel I am much better thanks to the patience and expertise of the therapist and the exercises from excellent PTA’s! Their pleasant personalities make the exercises less painful.”
“I came to Walker Physical Therapy after I had surgery for a broken finger. My finger, along with the two adjoining fingers, was very stiff. In addition, my shoulder was frozen and I was having severe pain with movement.
I am now able to bend all fingers! I am not quite 100% to a fist, but I am continuing my work with the therapists, and I know I will attain my goal. My shoulder is much improved, and the pain, although not gone, is diminishing.
I have been especially impressed with the teamwork I have seen at Walker Physical Therapy, and the dedication of the team to meet the personal needs of each individual.
I would highly recommend this facility to family and friends!”
“Before coming to Walker Physical Therapy, I was experiencing ever-increasing pain and limited movement which was caused by my frozen shoulders. I was unable to reach up or backward, I couldn’t even curl the back of my hair. If anyone bumped into me or if I happened to stumble, I would feel excruciating pain. I was concerned that I might have to undergo surgery.
My therapist began an intensive program of physical therapy and he always explained the treatment procedures to me. Throughout my therapy the professionalism, good humor and kindness of my therapist and the entire staff made what could have been a grueling program, a pleasant experience! Every member of the Walker team was cheerful and accommodating. Best of all, the treatment has been highly successful. I am no longer experiencing pain and my range of motion is close to normal.
I am grateful the entire Walker team for everything they have done for me. I will recommend Walker Physical Therapy to others! Thank you!”
