Grace Walker and her husband Jim had an adventurous day hiking in the scorching equator heat of the Galapagos Islands!
An experienced physical therapist, Grace prepared for her career at the University Of British Columbia School Of Rehabilitation Medicine, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. After graduating in 1976 and becoming a Chartered Physical Therapist, Grace Walker joined St. Paul’s General Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia. A year later, Grace Walker relocated to California and obtained a position as a physical therapist with Pomona Valley Community College. She transferred to the Visiting Nurse Association in 1978. She became both a Registered Physical Therapist, and an Occupational Therapist, Registered, within the State of California and the American Occupational Therapy Association in the same year. After completing a 1 year Orthopedic Residency in 1981, Grace Walker joined Cigna Health Plan as a department head of Physical Therapy and went on to establish her own private practice in less than two years. Dr. Grace Walker and her team of physical therapists are experts in pain relief and use revolutionary treatments including hands on Pressure Point releases, Kinesiotaping, ML830 laser, and Flex N Move programs. Since establishing Walker Physical Therapy and Pain Center, Walker has remained in practice in Orange County for more than 30 years. In order to provide patients with a broad range of services to meet their individual needs including wellness, she has pursued continuing education through the Natural Healing Institute of Naturopathy, obtaining credentials as a Certified Clinical Nutritionist, a Certified Clinical Master of Herbology, a Certified Aromatherapist, and Holistic Healthcare Practitioner.
